Countertops are where luxury kitchens and baths are won or lost. A spectacular slab installed with a visible seam, a drifting vein match, or a proud edge is a spectacular slab wasted. Our stone team selects material with you at the slab yard — granite, quartz, marble, and quartzite — then laser-templates, fabricates, and installs with the precision that book-matched stone deserves.
Because countertops live inside our larger cabinetry and remodeling practice, your stone is coordinated with cabinet tolerances, sink and faucet specifications, and backsplash design from the start. Waterfall edges, full-height splashes, integrated drainboards, and honed, leathered, or polished finishes — executed as one continuous piece of thinking.

Countertops — your questions, answered
Granite, quartz, or quartzite — what's the real difference?
Granite is natural, durable, and heat-tolerant. Quartz is engineered, consistent, and nearly maintenance-free but dislikes direct heat. Quartzite is natural stone with marble's beauty and closer-to-granite hardness. Marble is the most beautiful and the most demanding. We'll tell you honestly what fits how you actually cook and live.
Can you replace countertops without damaging our cabinets?
Yes — countertop-only replacement is routine for us. We remove old tops carefully, reinforce where needed, and template for a precise fit on your existing cabinetry.
How do you handle seams on large islands?
First, by trying to eliminate them — we source oversized slabs where possible. When a seam is unavoidable, we place it where geometry and vein flow hide it best, and we show you the planned seam location before fabrication.
Do new countertops need sealing?
Quartz never does. Granite and quartzite typically get sealed at installation and benefit from resealing every one to three years depending on the stone. We seal everything appropriate at install and leave you honest care instructions.
